About Us
The Proposition 13 Reform Task Force began as a group of citizens concerned about the continuing adverse impact of Proposition 13 on California government. The Task Force was formed December 2006 and collaborated with Lenny Goldberg, the executive director of the California Tax Reform Association (CTRA), to draft a resolution intended to build support for drafting, qualifying, and passing a ballot initiative to change California’s property tax laws. The resolution has since been endorsed by numerous organizations throughout California and the group continues to grow.
