* Join the Task Force – Individuals and organizations become members by endorsing our resolution. Just download the resolution, sign the endorsement, and return it to us by email to prop13taskforce@yahoo.com, or by mail to Proposition 13 Reform Task Force, Post Office Box 11622, Oakland, CA 94611.
* Donate – Donations in any amount to cover the task force operating expenses are welcome. Send your check to Proposition 13 Reform Task Force, Post Office Box 11622, Oakland, CA 94611.
* Request a speaker – We will be happy to provide a speaker to your organization to explain why we are proposing a change to the current property tax laws, and how such a change will benefit all Californians. Just send an email to prop13taskforce@yahoo.com and tell us when and where you meet and a couple of meeting dates that would work for you.
* Write to your state legislators – Let the legislators who have been struggling with the budget problems and the unmet needs of their districts know that you support split-roll reform of the property tax system as part of the solution to California’s fiscal dilemma. * Write a letter to the editor – Let your neighbors know that you support split-roll reform and that your local services will benefit without any increase in taxes on residential property.
